Paws-A-While

Kennel Policies

In order to maintain a healthy and safe environment for all the dogs staying at Paws-A-While dog boarding kennels we have the following policies on proof of vaccination, general dog health and behaviour.

Vaccination

We shall require written proof that your dog has been fully vaccinated against the following serious health conditions: RABIES, DISTEMPER, HEPATITIS, LEPTOSPIROSIS, PARAINFLUENZA, and PARVOVIRUS within the past 12 months. These are standard vaccinations given by your vet, often abbreviated in writing as ‘DHLPP’.

IN ADDITION, we will also require written proof that BORDATELLA, (Kennel Cough), has been vaccinated against within the past 12 months. PLEASE NOTE that the Bordatella immunization is NOT routinely given unless you have requested it. It can not be administered within 10 days of a dog(s) starting it’s boarding stay at the Paws-A-While kennel.

Healthy Dogs

Any dogs that show signs of a parasitic infestation or indications of having any type of contagious illness will not be permitted to stay at the Paws-A-While dog boarding kennels.

Aggressive Dogs

For the safety of our boarders, customers and staff, we reserve the right to refuse any dog(s) that show abnormally aggressive behaviour.
